The Philippine Press Club of Ontario (PPCO) has always supported and encouraged the participation of our community in the Canadian political milieu. Our participation in politics – as elected or appointed officials, candidates, voters, supporters, community members, etc. – provide us with political strength, visibility and respect in our adopted home.
We are hosting a Political Forum to highlight the candidacy of several Filipino Canadian candidates for the forthcoming municipal election on October 22, 2018.
The forum will cover an introduction of all candidates, their statement of their goals and plans for the respective positions they aspire for, and an open forum. The event will be moderated by a PPCO member.
